Shawn Suyong Yi Jones

Shawn is a Ph.D. candidate in Communication Studies whose research interests include pornography as content and industry, porn consumption practices, affect theory, queer critical race studies, online platforms, and community and identity formation. His dissertation work focuses on the online porn consumption practices of East Asian men, with a particular focus on the interplay of race, affect, and meaning-making within these practices. His writings have been published in Porn Studies, Sexualities, and Panorama.  

Idun isdrake

Idun Isdrake is a game designer, film/stage director and artist with 15 years experience as a CEO and Creative Director, currently in the INDI PhD research creation program at Concordia. Their work ranges from landscape photography and art house games, to cyborg implant interfaces and counter tactic body mods protecting privacy and diversifying human expression. They thrive at the intersection of the classic and the unknown, the peaceful and the violent, restlessly creating with new tools, or pushing the existing beyond and in-between the conventional.
